In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Romania showcased interesting trends. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of user engagement and app popularity.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.5K in early December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, rising to 6.6K in the week of December 2, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 445K.

Digi Sport-Știri&meciuri LIVE experienced varying download rates, with a high of 7.3K at the start of the quarter and a significant drop to 192 by the end. Despite this, weekly active users increased, finishing at approximately 57.8K.

Informat.ro: știri zilnice showed a dramatic rise in downloads from 716 at the beginning to 8.4K at the end of the quarter. Active users also grew, reaching 12.9K by the end of December.

Biziday - Știri verificate maintained a low download rate initially, which spiked to over 2K in the last week of November. Active users increased to around 76.6K by the same period.

Finally, Supercazino showed an interesting trend in downloads, peaking at around 2K in late October before dropping sharply.
